French for Young Children, 6 - 10 years old

After school immerses your child in the French language and culture! La Petite École French Learning Center is proud to offer French classes to children from ages 6 through 10 on Tuesday, from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm, starting this October.

La Petite École French Learning Center introduces a young child to French through a structured curriculum enhanced with games, songs, and arts-and-crafts projects. Creatively themed classes, specifically designed for this age group, are taught entirely in French and will allow your child to seamlessly become familiar with a new language. This program promotes a gentle immersion experience in small groups to ensure individual attention for each child. Emails will be sent to parents on a regular basis to keep them abreast of the program and they will receive vocabulary lists and phrases that their children are learning.

This program will be taught by Madame Tracey Schmitz Linder.  She has over 20 years of experience in language teaching. Rochester-born, with degrees from Fordham University, she taught ESL in California and France, becoming a Francophile along the way. In France she created a fun after school program for children ages 6 through 14 to help them practice English. From 2007-2018, Tracey taught Middle School French at the Harley School.  We are very honored that Madame Tracey Schmitz has joined the LPE Family.

One session is offered and is appropriate for complete beginners, native French speakers, and everyone in between.  Each session consists of 8 Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:00, as follows:

Session: October 8th – November 26th

Registration Fee $25

Session Fee $200

Once the completed registration forms and fees are returned to LPE your child will be officially enrolled in the program. Please understand that because we offer a competitive program, and space is limited, we cannot guarantee space until this happens.

To enroll please contact the La Petite École French Learning Center, via email or call us 899-0290.
